A Glimpse Into the Vivo S7 5G

After the launch of its X50 Pro, Vivo has yet another smartphone coming as a part of its S lineup. The new Vivo S7 will be launched in China on the 3rd of August. From the brief teaser that the company released, it looks like the new smartphone is going to be selfie-focused. Where most other smartphones are focusing on the power of the rear camera, Vivo S7 will be introducing some new features on its selfie camera. The company seems to have picked up on the recent rise in the usage of the selfie camera and is now catering to it.

The Vivo S7 also seems to have an extremely lightweight body with a slim chassis. In a recently shared render of the phone, a glimpse of its rear design was caught for the first time. The back of the phone has a beautiful gradient color that makes the already slim phone look even sleeker. However, it was difficult to make out what material the back was made from in the rendering. It could have a glass back.
The body of the device features a volume rocker on the edge along with a power key. A USB-C port, along with a microphone and a speaker, has been integrated into the bottom edge. The design of its rear camera seems to be very similar to that of the Vivo X50 that was launched earlier this year. Both feature a triple-lens and an LED flash. We will know more about the camera once the specs are out. Maybe it won’t be as similar to the X50as it seems.
The smartphone will fully support 5G, like the rest of the smartphones being launched this year and onward.
Rumored Specifications
The rear camera might sport a 64MP sensor, 8MP supersede shooter, and a 13MP portrait sensor. The phone might be backed by the Snapdragon 765G processor. The front camera is expected to sport a dual-lens with a 44MP primary sensor, a secondary sensor of 8MP, and a wide-angle lens. The smartphone might have an 8GB RAM and a storage capacity of up to 256GB. It might even come with a 33W rapid charger.
Just like the Vivo X21, the new S7 might have a wide notch. The display screen is expected to be 6.43 inches long and may include a fingerprint sensor. The screen is expected to have an HD+AMOLED display. The new S7 by Vivo will be launched in the mid-range smartphone market for competition with the other affordably priced handsets. What might give Vivo an upper hand is a fact that along with having a strong triple-lens (or quad, we don’t know for sure yet!) rear camera, the S7 will also have a powerful selfie camera which is often neglected in the mid-range smartphones.
